humble beginnings in Mississippi, to becoming one of the world's most
in-demand session players, working with the likes of Blood Sweat &
Tears, Woody Herman, Frank Zappa, Paul McCartney, and a few thousand
others! However he may be best-known for his work with The Blues
Brothers, both on stage and in the classic film, as well as his time
as musical director for Saturday Night Live, and his years with Paul
Shaffer and The CBS Orchestra on The Late Show with David Letterman!
