On this episode of the “It's Only Rock And Roll PODCAST”, we visit with a true witness to rock history and contemporary of a pre-fame Beatles - saxophone player HOWIE CASEY. He recounts his days in the early 1960's as leader of Howie & The Seniors, working the live Liverpool circuit, the seedy clubs of Hamburg, Germany, and eventually cushy world tours, backing up the likes of T.Rex, The Who, and his old pal Paul McCartney & Wings.

Co-host, Connecticut-based guitarist frontman CHRIS LEIGH, discusses his tenure with the sophisticated swing / boogie-woogie / soul band Eight To The Bar, as well as his co-founding (along with his wife Amy) of The String Theory School of Music in New London, CT.

However he may be best-known for his work with The Blues Brothers, both on stage and in the classic film, as well as his time as musical director for Saturday Night Live, and his years with Paul Shaffer and The CBS Orchestra on The Late Show with David Letterman!
